I am a mother of 4 and wife of a priest in the Orthodox Church in America. We live in South Texas, most recently, where I teach online classes with VIP Kid and Outschool.com while homeschooling 3 of my 4 children. I love books, I love nature, and I love my family. I love my adopted home in the Orthodox Church, who welcomed me almost 20 years ago now. Other favorite things are reading and discussing books with friends, especially the two Charlotte Mason book studies I am privileged to be a part of and listening to The Literary Life podcast.

This blog started off in my mind as a place to record the things I was learning about how to establish a rhythm of prayer and an atmosphere of peace in my home. It has grown to include a place to review books, many of which are relevant to that topic, but some of which are not, and to provide links to resources that are related to both prayer resources and Spanish liturgical resources in the Orthodox Church.

I hope you find something useful here, perhaps a document you need or the encouragement to read a book you’ve heard about. I welcome your comments on my posts.
